DREAM WORLD, never far back, went to ihe front with a rush nearing the furlong marker and retained a clear advantage thereafter when fully extended. SPY ENCORE was sent into the runner-up position entering the stretch, but was unable to reach the winner when hard hustled through the late stages. FERIA was unable to improve her position when subjected to brisk urging. PET REWARD tired when punished. FLAT SIDE was unable to keep up. EMOTION lacked the necessary rally. TETU was outrun. FLAGITORO, reserved back of the early leaders, came fast after being guided to the outside for the drive and was up in the concluding strides to outgame THE STRAW. The latter reached the lead between calls during the stretch run, then held on tenaciously, just missing. SINGING GIRL held a slight lead when settled for the stretch run, shortened stride when challenged and was unable to hold the top ones. COOSAWATCH IE made up some ground when hard ridden in the late stages. TOURLANX lacked early speed. PLATTERPUSS failed to stay. FLEECE retired steadily from a rapid start. KINDNESS began sluggishly. MIELAISON assumed a commanding lead soon after the start, repelled repeated challenges from BENNET during the run down the backstretch, then steadily drew clear when placed to stern punishment after completing the final hedge. BENNET moved up menacingly to gain near even terms for the lead at the sixth jump, faltered thereafter and, though unable to seriously endanger the winner, easily prevailed over the others. PINE SHOT failed to respond when set down for the final test. THE PROFF was always outrun. GLENCANNON failed to attain the lead and tired. BOMBEZ never menaced. HUSH HALL and NAIRN never threatened. FREE STRIDE, a sharp factor from the start, was no match for the winner when the real test came. LENNY GALE swerved repeatedly during the early running, then was unable to endanger the top ones when set down for the drive. SNOOZIE lacked speed. OUT OF REACH and ANACOSTIA were outrun. MASTER ACE sprinted into a commanding lead immediately after the start, was unable to repel the challenge of the winner during the stretch run, but lasted to easily best the others. STONE SAUCER, never far back, was forced wide on the final turn when LONE EAGLE bore out, continued in the middle of the track for the driveand, after disposing of SAXONY, won going away. SAXONY worked his way forward along the inner rail to assume a clear lead entering the stretch, shortened stride when challenged and was unable to cope with the winner. LONE EAGLE went to the front at once, drifted out while tiring on the final turn, then failed to respond to pressure when straightened. JUNE TIME raced evenly through the late stages without mishap. PRINCIPIO raced wide. MIDYEAR tired. CASCANUEZ was through after a half mile. SEVENTY-FIVE was not unduly persevered with when hopelessly beaten.
