Cubs Sign Sooner Catcher NORMAN, Okla., June 7 UP. A University of Oklahoma catcher has picked up his degree and a contract with the Chicago Cubs here. Two-year-letterman Buster Cloud, who hit .311 and batted in the clean-up spot for the Sooners this year, was assigned to the Twin Fallas, Idaho club in the class C league.
