Rice Stable Shipping Four To ThistleDown Course THISTLEDOWN, Warrensville, Ohio, June 7. Mrs. Ala L. Rice, Chicago sportswoman, has shipped four horses to this point and they will probably see action during the coming week. It is also anticipated that her stakes-winning three-year old, Ring King, will be a starter in the Ohio Derby. Ring King won both the Cherry Blossom Stakes and the Chesapeake at Laurel this spring. Jockey William Hartack, who rode in such sensational form in this area last season and who now is at Delaware Park, is expected to be on hand several times during this session to ride for Mrs. Rice who now has the boys contract. Hartack, who was the second leading rider in the country las year, isonce again very near the top of the list.
