The latter was always a good contehder and went well to the end; MISS NIGHT set most of the pace, but wekened in the last sixteenth. COCOA AL was going fairly well at the finish. UDO REINACH was leading when he bore out badly on the second turn. RUSSELL TS was never dangerous. JANES GAL was badly outrun for six furlongs, but came fast on the outside after entering the backstretch and, getting to the front on the outside an eighth out, "had no trouble with SLO MOE. The latter cut to the inside on the backstretch to move up very fast and took command on the stretch turn, but was hot good enough. VEZLARK was a forward factor throughout. PARTY KING weakened after getting to the front. PET CAMP was required to take up when in close quarters in the first quarter.
