FUENTE, held in reserve to the second turn, was sent up between horses and, while lugging in through the stretch run, proved slightly best. BOSTON SIR, far back for the first half mile, circled his field when rallying and narrowly missed. TINT STRAW displaced HOP SCOTCH when ready in the run down the backstretch, drew out while saving ground and held on stubbornly. LANARK found his best stride too late.
