LATONIA STAKES RECEIVE MANY ENTRIES. List of Horses Named for the Queen City Handicap Officials Highly Pleased. Cincinnati, O., March 24. That there will be some great racing at Latonia this spring is clearly shown by the entries to the nine stakes which broke all records. The list as compiled by Secretary John Dillon, shows the following results: Queen City Handicap, 2,500, 04 entries; Cincinnati Trophy, 150 entries; Clipsctta Stakes, 119 entries; Harold Stakes, 138 entries; Decoration Handicap, 104 entries; Merchants Selling, 131 entries; Brewers Handicap, 106 entries; Cincinnati Hotel Handicap, 94 entries; Kentucky Steeplechase, 55 entries. Among the newcomers at Latonia this year will be Sam Hildrcth, M. H. Tieheuor and Co., and for the first time in years the maltesc cross of "Lucky" Baldwin will be seen.
