CHARLOTTE CUSHMAN DIES AT LEXINGTON. Lexington, Ky., March 24. Charlotte Cushman, owned by R. L. Baker, died today while foaling to St. George. Charlotte Cushman was a full sister to Proctor Knott, being by Luke Blacfcburn, out of Tallapoosa. She was foaled in 1887, a year later than her illustrious brother, and was the last of the produce of her dam. She was not a great mare, cither on the turf or in the stud. Her produce were not stars. Charlie Grainger, once supposed to be of Derby quality, and Chief Milllkln, now four years old, were the best.
