CLEM PIERCE NOW WITH MADDEN. Lexington, Ky., March 24. Clem Pierce, the brother-in-law of C. T. Patterson, has charge of J. E. Maddens horses, left over at Hamburg Place, from the first eastern shipment. Pierce will remain at the farm all summer to break the yearlings and do the home training. Pierce now lias up about the same number of horses that Madden has in his "Bennings racing stable.
