NOTES OF THE TURF. Jack Rowes good filly Cora Price will be raced at New Orleans next winter. Harry Kuhl secured entries right and left at Aqueduct for the City Park Stakes, and counts on a total of nominations far in excess of last winter. Waterbury will be well engaged in Ascot Park Stakes, and being a fast and Improving young horse, Is likely to be one of the stars of the coming meeting. Jockey Ranch, who was expected to return to this country with Mr. Vanderbilts trainer William Duke, remained some time in viewing the wonders of London before sailing for his native land. Surveillance had worked a haU ji 47 with 123 pounds up two days prior to the race in which Sally Preston defeated her at Aqueduct Monday, which accounts for the heavy backing awarded the filly that day, , . .
