BELMONT PARK RACING. The Westchester Racing Associations important autumn meeting begins at Belmont Park tomorrow afternoon with a very attractive card, which includes the two parts of the Matron Stakes for two-year-olds and the Jerome Handicap for three-year-olds. The names of the probable starters for these important events appear in the entry lists published today. Two stakes, the Corinthian Open Steeplechase, at about two and a half miles, and the Fair-view Selling Stakes for three-year-olds at a mile and a sixteenth, will be run Tuesday. John M. P., Maximilian, Dr. Keith, Grandpa, Bayonet, Garrett, Essex II., Delcanta, Palm, Jimmy Lane and otiicr good jumpers are in the Corinthian. Conspicuous in the Falrview are the names of Faust, Gild, Acrobat, Rifleman, Convllle, Tom Dolan, Yorkist, Te-maceo, J. C. Core, Tony Bonero, Rio Grande, Orphan Lad, Oraculum, Smiling Tom, Lord Lovat, El Dorado, Saracinesca, Perseverance and Monfort. The Ilurricana Stakes, at five furlongs, for two-year-olds, and Bronx Highwcight Handicap at three-quarters, for two-year-olds and over, will lie the stake features of Wednesday afternoon. Spooner, Wave Crest, Bellwether, Goldquest, Berry Maid, Jane Swift. Cool, Itosimiro, The Squire. Park View, Kings Plate, Donnell, Priscillian, Brother Jonathan and Arasee appear best in the Hurricana and in the Bronx, Dr. Gardner. Okenitc, Kentucky Beau, J. C. Core, Uncle, Cressina, Suffrage, Veil, Oxford, McCarter, Cairngorm. Jack Atkin, Far West, Saracinesca, Brookdale Nymph, Baby Wolf, Carthage and Polly Spanker will probably furnish the field. For Thursday, the Hunter Handicap for three-year-old fillies, at a mile, is the stake provided. Gold Lady, Kennyetto, Court Dress, Veil, Yankee Girl, Barbary Belle, Danoscara, Belle of Iroquois, Killa-loe, Littleton Maid and Adoration are best of the oligibles. Friday afternoon lias two stakes assigned, the Manhattan Handicap at turec-quarters, for two-year-olds and over, and the Dlxiana Stakes for three-year-olds, at a mile. In the Manhattans entry list Half Sovereign. Nimbus, Kentucky Beau, Ben Ban, J. C. Core, Uncle, Veil, Court Dress, Kings Daughter. Lady Anne, McCarter, Jack Atkin. Bat Masterson, Dr. Gardner. Brookdale Nymph and Baby Wolf stand out prominently. The best in the Dixiana appear to be Electioneer, Jack Atkin. Dick Finnell. Fountalnbliie, W. H. Daniel, Kentucky Beau, J. C. Core, Tourenne, Tony Faust, Cabochan, Ellicott, Dashaway. De Mund, Saracinesca. Perseverance, Belie of Iroquois, Monfort, Gild and Faust. Saturday is always a day of great racing at Belmont Park, and the Brook Cup Steeplechase at n1out three miles, Nursery Handicap for two-year-olds, at six furlongs, and Municipal Handicap, for three-year-olds and over, at a mile and three-quarters, have been set for decision on that day. The Brook Cup has about all of the good jumpers of the day engaged. The Nursery Handicap, with its ,000 In added money, Is an important race, and Colin may be given a weight that will cause him to be an absentee. Aside from him. sucli other good ones as Fair Play, Julia Powel, Stamina, naif Sovereign, Nimbus, Johnnie Blake, Jim GafTuey, Notasulga, Uncle. Lady Winifred, Meelick, Kiug James, Spooner. Cohort, Ben Fleet, Fort Johnson, Mombassa and Beaucoup are in the Nursery. In the Municipal Handicap are such cracks as Salvidere, Electioneer, Nealon, Flip Flap, Running Water, McCarter, Gold Lady, Montgomery, Far West, Bedouin, Go Between, Charles Edward, Dinna Ken and Ironsides.
