JOE THOMPSONS BIG ENGLISH BETS. The English bookmaker, Joe Thompson, laid, among others, the fallowing interesting doubles upon the Cesarewitch and Cambridgshire, viz.: 0,000 to 00 Baltinglass and Eastern; 5,000 to 75 Baltinglass and Lally; 5,000 to 00 Madame de Soubise and Lally; 5,000 to 75 Boyal Dream and Lally, and 5,000 to 50 Baltinglass and Sagamore. As Baltinglass was beaten in the Cesarewitch, won by Demure Wednesday last, Thompson won all his bets.
