FOUR FAVORITES WIN AT WINDSOR. Detroit. Mich., October IS. Edward Trotter furnished two of the winners at Windsor tins afternoon. Bather Boyal and Ilarmakis wore the horses which carried the Trot lor colors to victory. Both were favorites and both won their races in little better than a canter. The weather was a bit sharp, but the track was in better shape than on any day during the meeting. The races were true rim affairs and the lost horses won. It was ladies day and, as it was the hist of these occasions of the mooting, -a crowd turned out that packed the grandstand. Speculation was oven, four of the choices won and the ring did not lay up anything on the afternoons play. The card was not an attractive one. The opening event proved an easy thing for .Meddlesome Boy. which won in a romp from Sweet Kitty. The latter was very fractious at the post and in a false break galloped around the course. She showed lots of speed in the race, but in the stretch run Meddlesome Boy caught and passed her without effort. Lady Ermy made a runaway affair of t lie second race. In the early stages of the journey Stylit furnished sharp contention, but in the final furlong tired badly. Bather Royal was easily best of his Held in the third race. He made all his own pace and was under wraps the entire trip. Had Moreland wished, Bather Royal could have won off by himself. Virginia Maid was much the best in the fonjdh. She showed the most speed all the way. Mulcaby grew a bit anxious in the lmal furlong and went to a drive to stall off a challenge from Bewitched. Royal Legend and Ilarmakis both won their races in a romp. The stable of M. J. Daly passed through here this morning en route to California. Edward Trotter loaded two horses on the Daly car, Webber and JjSV. ONeill. Trotter will ship the remainder of his string to Oakland some day next week. The stables of A. Brown and K. S. Gardner will leave for Nashville as soon as a car can lie obtained for shipment. J. H. Shouldicc has elected to race his string in California this winter. Shouldice himself returned from New York this morning, where he went to negotiate the transfer of the contract he held on jockey Delaby to R. E. Watkins. The stables of Joseph McLennan, L. Martin and J. and C. Davis leave for New Orleans next week. Mose Goldblatts big string will be shipped to the Crescent City on Tuesday. Goldblatt left for New York this afternoon.
