"WALLY" WEAVER STILL ON TURF. Judge G. W. Weaver, secretary of the Colorado Thoroughbred Association, who officiated as presiding judge at the Colorado Springs .meeting last summer, is attending the race meetings of the Texas circuit to familiarize himself with the breeding industry of the Lone Star State. As "Wally" Weaver he was a well known jockey something over fifteen years ago and rode Sympathetic Last to victory at Washington Park in 1891 in a race where the horse was at long odds and his owners were reputed to have won a great sum.
