HINTS AT REVIVAL IN MISSOURI. Montreal. Que June 9. — Former governor D. R. Francis of Missouri was a visitor at Blue Bonnets this afternoon. He expressed himself as greatly pleased witli the conduct of the sport hereabouts, and said the well-wishers of the turf were looking forward to a revival of racing in his own state. "Polities lias played a very great part in the struggle in Missouri, hut I for one look for a revival." said he. "The people of St. Louis are anxious for good, clean sport, and I am sure the lawmakers will give them their assistance. "Just prior to leaving St. Louis I was given to understand that there was a good, solid movement on foot, and that tile prospects Were extremely bright."
