SHEEPSHEAD BAY RACING PROGRAM. Book About to Appear Will Provide for Three Days Sport Each Week — Plans for Fall. New York. June 0. — Three days of racing each week is provided for in the book of the Coney Island Jockey Club, whose meeting is 10 follow the present session of the Brooklyn Jockey Club at Gravescnd. Before any racing dates were announced for the season a general agreement was reached by the different associations that there should be at least three days of racing each week. Weights for the Suburban Handicap, to be run at Sheepshc.nl Bay. June 24. were announced today, and within a few days the book of the meeting will be distributed. This book will lie compiled along the same lines as those of the meetings at Belmont Iark and Oravesend and will provide for racing each Tuesday. Thursday and Saturday. Naturally, the horsemen are anxious for an increase of racing opportunities, but conservatism appears to be the policy of those in control of the affairs of the turf in meeting the demands made upon them for additional racing dates. So far as Saratoga Is concerned, nothing definite has been announced, but the residents and business ■sea them are anxious to have racing six days a week. They say that the race track patrons will have nothing to do hut sit still Jf there are any vacancies in the schedule for the Spa. It has been practically decided to hold fall meetings at the local tracks. Keen Jamaica and Aqueduct will open their gates for short sessions, so that the sport may continue until the first of November under the present favorable conditions. Sheepshead Bat will open the fall campaign as usual, the inaugural stake feature being the rich Futurity.
