The stakes to be decided during the fall meeting of the Ontario Jockey Club at Woodbine, September 18-25, fdled exceptionally well, both in respect to quality and quantity. 0 or They foreshadow a high-class meeting for Toronto. The material named for the cross-country events is especially of notable caliber, embracing as it does the pick of the steeplechasers in training in America. For the races on the Hat some good horses have been named that have been out of commission thus far n this season and their nominations may be taken as an indication that they will shortly be seen under K. colors.
