NOTTER NOW RIDING IN FRANCE. New York, September IS. Jack McGinnls. the man who developed jockey Joe Notter. has received word from Notter that he had quit Germany for the year and taken out a license to ride in France. Notter went abroad to ride for the stable George Walker has been training for a wealthy banker of Hamburg, but was not especially successful. He expects to do some riding for Fred Burlew in France. Notter is a bit homesick and he expects to come home as soon as the season in France is over. But if 10 gets a good contract to ride in France next spring he probably will go back across the water.
