RACING OF THIS WEEK IN ENGLAND. As was the case last week, English racing of this week is confined to meetings of small Importance, those to bo disposed of being the Birmingham September, Liugilold Park September, Windsor September, Pontifract Autumn and Newbury Autumn meetings. No, stakes of great value are to be run at any, of these, except the KIngsclere Stakes of 1.000 sovereigns, for three-year-olds, at a mile and a quarter,- which is the main feature of the Newbury meeting. No American horses are engaged in it. Mlnoru, Mirador and Sir Bold are the. best of the "liglhles and it appears easy prey for King Edwards Derby winner, even if he did fail dismally in the St. Leger. Probably some American horses have been entered in-minor stakes of recent closing at some of these meetings.
