CELLA REPORTED ANXIOUS TO RETIRE. Cincinnati, O.. September 18. It is rumored that L. A. Cella has offered his stock in the Latonia Racing Association to the highest bidder, and that J. It. Respess and Congressman J. L. Ithinock are ready and willing to outbid, anyone for the stock. Vila desires to get out of the race-track ownership business, it is said, and if present reports are true he will soon be a non-factor in Kentucky racing affairs. It seems be has lately built a home at ai cost of about 00,000, which would seem to settle the report that his "reason for selling out at Latonia was on account of being broke.
