Hasty Agnes met with early Interference, but gained steadily lu the Inst quarter and finished gamelv under a drive. Pajaroita. a close contender for a half mile, tired In the final drive. Fort Johnson closed a big gap. Sewell refused to start. Woodlane finished fast. Richard Reed and Smllev Corbett showed speed, but failed to stay. Scratched S4377 Dalhousie. 85. The Monk went wide on the turn : aud ran a good race, but was tiring at the end and swerved in the last sixteenth. Bob Co. dropped back on the far turn, but came again and finished resolutely. Fair Annie, forced to go around on the outside when entering the homestretch, displayed much courage under punishment and outstayed Joe Kose at the end. The latter showed the most early speed, but tired in the last sixteenth. Desperado was only cantering In behind the leader for six furlongs, but quit when called on. Hanbridge was well up and a game contender for the entire trip and easily secoud best. Green Seal ran well, but tired in the last quarter. Howard Shean ran a good race for him. Terah closed a huge gap. Stanley Fay was crowded back at the start and a distant trailer most of the trip. The pace was too fast for Plaudmore and he could never get up.
