KING GEORGES COLT GOES TO INDIA. The Kings colt Marconi has been purchased privately bv Mr. I!. Goodman for India. Hrod at the Hoval Stud at Saiidriiighnin. by Kailinm out of Witch of the Air. Marconi was originally highly thought of. but ran three times last year without success, finishing second to I if inella and thud !•• Grassland. This year he has run second to Abet dare in the Craven week and unplaced at the First Spring meeting to King Rolsrt for the Hastings Plate. His sale is doubtless due to his failure to realize his juvenile promise. Although not deemed good enough to eintiiiii- to cany the royal livery in high class races the colt is likely enough to do well iu India.
