Won easily: second and third driving. HONOR, away well, raced in close pursuit of BATSMAN and, passing him on the stretch turn, drew away to win pulling up. SALACIA snowed high s| eed and raced well throughout, hut tired badly when called on and was doing her best at the end. YANKEE PRINt ESS met with interference M the stretch turn, but finished with a rush and outgamed BATSMAN at the end. The latter set a fast early pace and had no mishaps. PETER KING, fractious at tiie ptst, was bumped on the stretch turn and tired under his weight. Won easily; second and third driving. LAlRANO set a fast pace from the start and, racing into a long leal and drawing far away in the stretch, won in a canter. BRACADAIJ2 raced close up all the way and made a game rush while n unding the far turn, but was easily held safe by the winner and was tiring at the end. RIALTO began slowly, but slipped through on the inside when entering the stretch and finished fast and gamely. BRAINSTORM, a forward contender from the start, was much used in chafing the leader and tiled in the final sixteenth. ORDINANCE began slowly and had a rough race. SAY IEN began sl wiy and closed up steadily on the inside, but was cut off wheu he made his move and came again at the finish. I/ALLY was much use,! in forcing the pace and tired badly under his weight. EPISODE raced well. RADIANCY quit badly after setting a fast pace for three quarters.
