, 1 i i 1 i , , CANADIAN TX7RF RULERS HOLD MEETING TORONTO, Ont, Mjiy 22.— At a meeting of the Canadian Racing Associations today, J. Williams was granted a license to ride in Canada for Miller Henderson. The application of R. Ball for a riders license and that of T. W. Tucker for trainers papers were tabled. The stewardsjfcf the Canadian Racing Associations also denied the application for registration of the racing name of the Maple Leaf Stable. Care Free and Hickory, barred from racing by the starter last year, were restored to good standing. J. Wallace and K. Parrington were given probationary riding licenses. Following were the members present at the meeting : J. H. Madigin, Fred Richard, Albert Dyment, G. M. Hendrie, H. J. Mc-Intyre and Commander J. K. L. Ross. The following licenses were granted : Trainers— J. Arthur, J. Boden, G. C. Bren-ton, G. R. Bryson, J. O. Burttschell, J. M. Collins, J. H. Davenport, F. H. English. G. E. Ensor, J. Foley, R. E. Hefferan, J. T. Ker-math, G. Simon, A. Thomas, J. Price, T. II. McCray. Jockeys — S. Bullman, W. Banks. H. Fowler, J Pierce, J. McNair, A. Gantner, S. Legere, A. Abel, E. Ambrose, F. Barry, T. Bon-ham, W. Borgan, O. Bourassa, E. Brogden, J. Brogden, Jess Conley, C. Deigel, H. Howard, W. Hunt, L. Lang, J. Leyland, J. Mclver, W. Milner, J. Reid, C. Walls, G. King. The application from E. Rensetti was laid over. The following licenses for authorized agents were granted : W. W. Ferguson for Seagram Stable, J. G. Gorman for M. German, J. Healey for F. Ambrose Clark, T. J. Healey for Walter J. Salmon, T. Hodge for S. Hodge. J. T. Kermath for R. Strassburger. Assumed names were granted for the Greentree Stable, the Triple Springs Farm and Rancocas Stable.
