IN MEM0RIAM IS IMPROVING | LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 22.— In Memo-riam continues to overcome his recent ailment and is being cantered daily. Trainer Gihnore, howrever, will not subject him to any strenuous work for some time, as it is 1 his intention to give him ample time for recovery. "I am going slow with him for the ! present, as he was in racing condition when ! he sustained the injury and it will require . but little work to bring him back to racing ; form," said Gilmore. "He will be a starter at Latonia during that meeting and if he shows no ill effects from his racing he will 1 be shipped to New York, to be raced there I before again coming back to Kentucky."
