TURF NEWS OF THE DAY I FROM BELMONT PARK NEW YORK. N. Y., June 6. Word was received from Washington that James W. Bean came out of his operation satisfactorily to his att-nding physicians. T. J. Healey returned from Montreal where he went to inspect the division that J. Pryce has of the Wilson and Salmon stables in training. H, C. Curly J Brown was a visiter to Belmont Park today, staying over for a day of sport before his trip to California. Barry Shannon came from Louisville and ] will look after the Idle Hour Stock Farms | heau Butler in the running of the Belmont Stakes. Should Lee Rosenborgs Sun Pal start in the Belmont, trainer John F. Schorr will he forced to seek the services of a rider. C. Kummw, who was engaged by wire, is under contract to the Rosenberg stable.
