C. B. IRWIN IN L1MELXHT Three of His Juveniles Finish One, Two, Three in First Race — Three Straight for Tnbby A. OMAHA, Neb., June 6.— C. B. Irwin, Cheyenne horseman, performed the unexpected today when he saddled three two-year-olds in the opening dash at five-eighths and had the extreme pleasure of watching them account for all the money provided in the purse. His juveniles to run one-two-thrce were the California-bred colts Edmon, Sequan and Runolathe. There was an element of luck attached to his success for Swecptona was tardy in leaving the post and ran what might be termed a winning race from her slow beginning. As it happened she was only beaten by the scantest of margins by the Irwin trio. The good sprinter Tubby A., also from the Irwin barn, earned the sobriquet of "iron horse" when he won his third consecutive victory in as many days. Tubby A. engaged some good sprinters in the fourth race at three-quarters, and after stalling off repeated challengers, came away at the end to win by the best part of a length from Whiff and Ruddy. * .
