LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS W. Harvey, who led the riders of the year until injuries forced him out of the saddle for a short time, is back in first place and bids fair to remain there if he continues riding in the form he has displayed at Bowie. Last week he rode eleven winners, increasing his total to seventy, four more than to the credit of L. Neal, who is second on the list. L. Schaefer was another jockey who met with marked success last week, he likewise accounting for eleven winners. S. Griffin also figured prominently with eight, while H. Elston rode seven, and Harry Stutts six. The standing of the thirty leaders from January 1 to and including the racing of Saturday follows : Jockey. Alts. 1st. 2n. 3d. Unp.
