BOWIES SPRING MEETING a- Total of 03,100 in Stakes and Purses Distributed to Owners. • H. P. Whitney Stable Leading Winner— Reparation Tops the Horses — Riding Honors Fall to V. StotL * The Southern Maryland Agricultural and Fair Association distributed a total of 0.!,-100 during the eleven days of racing at Bowie, the meeting being held from April 1 to April 13. There were seventy-seven races decided and the average distribution amount to ,?"2. The division of the II. P. Whitney stable that raced at Bowie fared exceedingly well, so well indeed that it won more money than any other establishment taking part in the meeting. Reparation, Red Rocket and Lounger earned the most money among the horses, while V. Stott carried off the riding honors and F. J. Kearns was the most successful of the trainers.
