Start good and slow. Won casili : second and third driving. GOSSOON, prominent in the earlj running, saved much ground on the stretch turn and, under good riding, took the lead and held .1. ;. DENNY safe through the last sixteenth. The latter was far back in the early running and raced wide on the last turn, but finished fast. HATS IP. away fast, showed speed and raced into the lead, but tired. ONE WAY raced prominently for a half mile. S1EG MARGON set a good pace, but tired badl in the stretch. Start good and slow. Won easily: second and third driving. SCOTLAND GIRL followed FERSETH closely and. under good riding, raced into the lead in the hist eighth and was going away at the end. FERSETH showed fine speed and set a fast pace, but tired when reaching the last eighth. CHARLES ROBINSON had an advantage at the start and raced prominently all the way. Won easily; second and third driving. FLAMES raced into an easy lead in the first quarter and increased his adavntage in the next half mile, winning as bis rider pleased. REPEATER moved up gamely on the back stretch, but tired and came again near the end. BEAR GRASS raced fairly well, but was tiring badly in the last eighth. FAIR WIND was hard ridden for the entire way and raced sluggishly in the first quarter, but showed fine speed when settled fully in his stride and raced into the lead, but had to Ik ridden hard again near the end. BEGGAR BOY came fast through the stretch and finished gamelv. BERRY PICKEK began tiring after reaching the last eighth. SIE BARKER raced prominently for most of the way but was tiring in the stretch. HYDROMEL was saved close up in the early running and was benefited by the fast early pace, then came fast under hard riding in the stretch and headed the two leaders in the last twenty lards. ROLLED STOCKING forced a fast pace from the start and raced fast and gamelv in the final drive. The latter was hard ridden throughout and was forced wide on the stretch turn, but finished well. THE HUGUENOT was raced! extremely wide throughout. GUEST OF HONOR dropped far out of it in the first quarter, but came steadily in the stretch. PRESIDENT was taken far out of it in the first quarter, was hustled into the lead in the next quarter and was well spent when reaching the stretch.
