v BEWITHUS IN FAST MILE LEXINGTON, Ky.. April 28— E R. Bradleys good colt Bewithus furnished an incident for a large gallery at the I xington track Thursday afternoon when he wcrked a mile preliminary trial in the fast time of lHt%, the fractions as follows: Quarter, :24 ; half mile. :18; three-quarters. 1:14%. His pei forma nee carried extra merit in the fact that he was forced to run wide and be easeil up several times due to the presence on the track of sprinkling caits and harrows. Most of the trial was accomplished in the center of the course. The colt had his full Preakness and Derby weight up. Bewithus is an intented starter in the Preakness stakes and will be shipped to Pimlico shortly.
