April 28.— At the Jar-dine sale held at Newmarket today twenty-nine head of thoroughbreds in training were s« :d for a total of 94,075, or an average of ,700 per offering. The top price was brought hy the four-year-old bay filly Genista, a dauRht r of Gay Crusader — Sun Dart. She was bid in by Jardine people for 5,500. Sir Hugo unliffe-Own paid 6,000 for Voice B x. the three-year-old bay colt by Orpheus —Ladys "ollar. The Veil, a three-year-old filly by Friar Marcus — Seraph, and Potato Beetle, also MN hid in by Jardine, the former bringing IMjMt and the latter 5,000. Fair Aber-dotiian. a two-year-old. went to Fred Darling for hmm T. K. Iiidlaw offered Grake. the five-year-old hay gelding by Jack Daw — Iacly Yank.
