SILVER FOX HUGE HORSE NEW YORK. X. Y., April 2S.— Silver Fox, always a huge horse, has grown into a giant. He is lighter in color than last year and if he races for another couple of years the New York public may see a pure white horse racing. Then he will, indeed, be a "ghost." It will be recalled that Silver Fox was a 0,-000 yearling. He was bought abroad as a youngster by P. T. Chinn at the Newmarket July sales. Offered at Saratoga a little 1 more than a month later he was a sensation. W. R. Coe was the buyer at Saratoga, but took a profit from the Hancocas Stable, making it a stipulation that he should have the right to declare himself a partner in the I horse in the fall of his two-year-old career. J This lie did and today Coe is a partner in the big son of tlrey Fox. It was Orey Fox, by the way, that beat the South American crack. Botafogo, the -.nly time lie was mf r eaded. Grey Fox is now standing for service in France at the Haras Yaucivsson of Victor Duret near Paris.
