w . T~HAVRE DE GRACE N0TES~T e 3 HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 28. Adm. Cary T. Grayson, the Washington sportsman, reports that Starf light has foaled a fine colt by Man o War at the nursery of A. B. Hancock at Paris. Ky. Starflight is a sister of North Star III., the sire of Bubbling Over. Her first foal was Star Jester. The colt is the property of Admiral Grayson and observers have pronounced him a dead spit of his great father. Willie Travers arrived at Havre de Grace with War Flame, as the latter has received a special preparation for the 0,000 added Chesapeake Stakes, to be run here Saturday. E. Trueman announced that he would ship the big stable he has in training to Woodbine at the conclusion of the Pimlico meeting. There are eighteen in his string owned by Ral Parr, R. W. Carter and L. R. Freeman. Jockey Johnny McTaggart will accompany the stable to Canada. George Palmer, who has been engaged to do the starting at the Mount Royal track in Montreal, distributed condition books for that meeting among the horsemen. Several carloads will go from here direct to Mount Royal. Robert Curran. who is training the horses which race for C. Bild, took over the plater Fleetwood for J. Garner. Curran ships from I Baltimore to Toronto at the conclusion of the Pimlico meeting. A notice was posted in the secretarys office asking horsemen or race-goers to locate a stable hand named W. Bucklow. The lat-ters mother is ill at her home in Media, Pa., and is anxious to hear from her son. G, C. Milton disposed of the plater Tahoma to J. M. Hubbell, Jr. The riding of J. Craigmile attracted the attention of horsemen yesterday and the lads services promise to be in demand. Benny Beach, who is making his engagements reports that he can do i»8 pounds.
