I LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES $ $ LOUISVILLE. Ky., May 4. Wm. Dundas has undergone two minor operations at St. Josephs Infirmary here in the past ten days, but he is well on the way to a rapid recovery. J. S. Middleton, acting for the Crescent Stable, sold Sun Altos, the crack sprinter, to the Sanola Stock Farm. Dan Lehan has sent his good mare Margaret Winsor to Lexington to be bred to Chatterton. She has a brown filly at her side by Busy American. Baylor Hickman reports a brown colt foal to Eulogy, by Peter Pan and a brown colt foal by Tryster — Hasty Chick. The Widener horses were shipped to Belmont Park Tuesday in charge of R. G. Denny, with the exception of nine head, including Osmund and Kiev, the Derby candi-djites, which will race at the Churchill Downs meeting opening on May 7. The big band of the Island Farm Stable jirrived from Havre de Grjice this morning. Included in the consignment of ten horses was Indian Love all, the Derby candidjite from this establishment. W. A. Crawford, the trainer, went into stable "N" with his charges. R. McGarvey, of the stables of Mrs. John Hertz. Styvesant Peabody and Otto Lehman, brought in fourteen head from Lexington and took quarters in the new twenty-stji.il burn recently erected at Churchill Downs to receive them. Nelson Williams brought in eight head of horses belonging to VV. 10. Caskey of Lexington from the Kentucky Association track. Alex Menger brought three head from Latonia, where he wintered, the property of J. Allgeyer and S. jmd A. Furst of Cin-cinnjiti. J. T. Looney, represented by Lmgport. claimed Mjissey in the fourth race from K. J. Holland for ,300. It w;us the only claim recorded during the meeting.
