Holman arrived from Hjivre de Grace with seven horses. Max Silvers wjis an arrival from Maryland and stated that the Island Farm Stable of Li. T. Cooper was shipped to Louisville, Ky. Tom Shaw, clubhouse commissioner, quoted H. P. Whitneys Whiskery, winner of the Chesapeake Stakes at Havre de Grace, present favorite for the Derby at 8 to 1. Marshall Cassidy and Frank Nelson, Canadian racing officials were arrivals today, following a motoring trip from Tijuana. They leave for Toronto next week to await the opening of the Canadian season at the Woodbine Park. B. A. Chilton arrived from Havre de Grace and assumed charge of the press stand. It marked his twenty-seventh year in that capacity and his forty-third year connected with Metropolitan racing. Jockey Abel was an arrival at Jamaica He will ride the H. I. Whitney horses here in their engagements this week, but will commute to Pimlieo as often as necessary. George V. Burke arrived from Maryhind and took over jockey D. McAuliffes engagement book. The schooling list at Jamaica comprises My Diva and Forecaster. The latter has been played on every schooling list wherever he raced. The Seagram Stable inquired from trainer Fitzsimmons as to whether the two-year-old Distraction, winner of the Colorado, is for sale. J. E. Edwards of the Mirasol Stable reports the arrival of six fojils jit McCarrs Farm near Lexington, Ky.. of which five are colts. Miss Cameo has been Bred back to Mad Play, while Fan Tan was hred to the Hopeful Stakes winner. Master Charlie. Anit:t was shipped to the J. K. L.
