Woo driving: sei ond and third the same. ROYAL PENNANT, close up from the start, was outpaced to the stretch, then came fast and. wesr-ing INQUISITOR down, got up to win in the last stride. I.NUI ISiroK l egan from the extreme outside. but raced into the lead, but was tiring through the last eighth. PINK LILY, away well and, racing forwardly, swerved several times in the stretch drive, but finished gamely. SESQUI dropped back soon after the start, but finished fast. STERLING SILVER also finished well. BIRDWOOD quit badly in the last quarter. ALLFEY Ix-gan well, but immediately dropped back to the rear, then gained rapidly on the outside on the back stretch and was cut off slightly on the far turn, then raced into the lead, but bad to be hard ridden to outstay DEXTER. The latter took the lead midway of the back stretch and raced gamely to the finish. AMBITION was forced wide into the stretch, but fini hed gamely. VOCAHAN raced well. MURZIM began slowly and was badly outpaced for the first five-eighths and finishing with a belated rush through the last quarter, passed the leaders rapidly and got up to win in the last strides. PKTBR FIZ set a good pace, hut his rider appeared over confident and eased bis mount up the last sixteenth and lost by it. THE HEATHEN was close throughout and outstayed WANDERING MINSTREL. The latter lacked early speed, but finished fast. CANDY PIG raced well. SUPERSBDB had no mishaps. SIR HARRY was in a jam in the last sixteenth. CANDY MAY was used up after forcing the pace.
