HARDY LEADS AT COLUMBUS COLlMBLS, Ohio. May 4. Lee Hardy, under contract to L. V. Everitt, headed the list of money winning jockeys for the second week ;it Reuljih P:irk. For his work in the saddle the past week, Hiirdy drew down 23. falling 0 behind his pay of 5." for the first week. Francis P. Kiniry was second on the list in number of races and money won. Trenchard taking third honors. Hardy is unquestioiuibly the most promising apprentice in this section, being an accomplished horseman, alert at the bjirrier. a good jude of pjice. and a strong finisher. Hardy bids fair to become one of the turfs stars. Several offers were tendered Carter Kveritt, his employer. S N. Dolman, hist f;ill being the first to make ji Mi for h!s con-trjict. But Kveritts price seemed too high. Since then his experience in Cuba made him a finished nice rider.
