I I BUDDY BAUER TO PIMLICO LEXINGTON, Ky., May 4.— There was a change of plans of the Idle Hour Farm Stable and instead of sending Bewithus to race in the Preakness Stakes as originally planned. Buddy Bauer will be the dependence to carry off the honors in the rich Maryland stakes. Buddy Bauer is a better shipper than Bewithus and possesses more early speed than his stable companion. This was chiefly the consideration that brought about the change in plans. Bewithus will be a starter in the Kentucky Derby and Buddy Bauer is intended to go in the Louisville fixture. Trainer Thompson has arranged for a car to be available Tuesday to bring Buddy Bauer to I»uisville. Jockey Albert Johnson will depart for Baltimore after dismounting from Boot to Boot in the Clark Handicap and wi.l ride Buddy Bauer in the Preakness. ♦ — -— ■
