PRATTLE was taken up sharply at the start and allowed to drop far back. The latter was under restraint to the stretch turn and ran out badly when making the turn, but finished fast through the last eighth. OKAY moved up gamely on the inside after rounding the far turn aud ran a good race. HIGH SEAS, close up from the start, tired in the final drive. EPIGRAM ran poorly. DARCO had no mishaps. GUINEA HEN was rushed into a brief lead shortly after the start, saved ground on all the turns and finished well. SUN HAWK ran well all the way and was worked out an additional eighth. Won driving ; second and third the same. CATSPLAY. away well and hard ridden from the start, saved ground where possible and outfinished PRINCESS TINA in the final strides. The latter saved ground when turning for home, but was forced to come to the outside of the leader in the stretch and finished gamely. VALKYR ran green for the first half, but overcame interference and finished fast. IIOITY TOITY. fractious at the post, also fin-iahed fast. TUB LIRE quit. LADYS MAID ran well.
