Won driving: second and third the same. WORTHMAN worked his way up between the leaders when the stretch was reached and. finishing fast, got up t i win in the last twenty yards. OLD BROADWAY raced close up all the way. but had to race wide into the stretch, then finished fast and gamely. HANDS CP ran a good race, closing up much ground while racing on the outside of the others. CREEK EKIAR was forced to race wide throughout, suffering a loss of ground. CHARLES WHITNEY showed the way to the stretch, then gave way ;il MOKK raced poorly. MISS NANTIRA quit, as did JACK KNIGHT. Won driving: second and third the same. •US R. held to a slight lead gamely nearly all the way and ran out sharply la the stretch, impeding BAD LUCK, but finishing gamely, outstayed SWEEP-NET. The latter was close up throughout and. finishing gamely, would have wou at a longer distance. CHARLESETTA ran well and challenged midway of the stretch, but began tiring and was lucky to be third. LUCY KATE saved ground where possible and closed a gap. BAD LUCK suffered from interference from GUS R. when moviug up in the stretch and was taken up.
