WINS CHESTER VASE STAKES SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. LONDON. Eng:and. May 4.— Lady Tor-ringtons Lone Knight, a three-year-old bay colt by All Alone — Historic, won the Chester Vase Stakes yesterday. This event, which is for three and four-year olds, is decided over the mile and a half distance and is worth 0,000. The winner was the strong favorite and is being pointed for the Derby. Shian Mor, another Derby candidate, was unplaced. Swift and Sure, which was recently exported to the United States, won the Chester Vase Stakes last year.
