JOHN "WHITE Y" HOPE DIES BEULAH PARK, COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 2. — John "Whitey" Hope, a well-known horseman and jockeys agent for many years on the race tracks of the United States, Canada and Cuba, died suddenly here shortly after noon today. His Grierson had previously been excused from the second race, due to his illness. He was at ttn track this morning, but became ill, suffering a heart attack and the end came suddenly. He is survived by his widow, a former Montreal girl, and one child.
