NINE CORRIGAN HORSES SOLD SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. NEWMARKET, Eng., May 2.— Nine thoroughbreds in training, owned by the late James Corrigan, the American sportsman, were sold here at auction. They realized a total of 5,175. Painted Vixen, a two-year-old chestnut filly by Gainsborough — Happy, by Swynford, brought top price of ,750. Buckfast. the four-year-old colt by Buchan — Meriel. owned by the late Rex Cohen, was offered, but withdrawn. Buckfasts stable-mate, Pastel, a two-year-old bay filly by Gainsborough — Margaret Hall, a half-sister to Atheling, brought 0,000.
