fcHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES : « e LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 20. Next Saturday Roscoe Goose will ship twelve to Washington Park. D. E. Stewart will proceed to Latonia with his division of the stable after the close here. Apprentice R. Seigle is slated to accompany Goose to Chicago. Trainer J. B. Partridge is sending a carload of horses to the Chicago track and following the Bashford Manor Stakes here on May 30, the others will depart. The stables High Foot is a scheduled starter in the stake. A few of the stables members are campaigning at Aurora and will be assembled at Washington Park. At private terms J. C. Milam sold the two-year-olds Evanston and River Forest and a maiden unnamed three-year-old brown gelding, by Hourless — Hermeonia, to H. R Cur-ran of Chicago. Lloyd Gentry will train the trio. R. L. Rogers is shipping his stable of thirteen to Washington Park Friday. He intends campaigning through the entire Chicago season. C. W. Hay, general manager of Washington Park, returned Sunday night to Chicago after a local stay of several days. Mr. Hay-did missionary work among the horsemen in behalf of the coming meeting at his course and departed satisfied with the results. O. A. Bianchi is suffering from a severe attack of rheumatism and was forced to forego his training duties the past two mornings.
