TRAINER SCHORR RECOVERS LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 20.— John F. Schorr, trainer of the E. B. McLean stable, resumed direction of the big stable this morning following an illness of a week. He reported that both Neddie and War Eagle, which he has here, had been operated upon for throat ailments by Dr. Finch of Jeffer-sonville, Ind. The stables Mayor Walker, which was injured when he ran into a fence after being kicked while at the post in his last race, has some filling in the legs and will be out of training for some time.
