SANDE RIDES IN OAKS HOMEWOOD. 111., June 20— Earl Sande, who will appear under colors in the Illinois Oaks, will be riding for the first time in the West since he abandoned riding as a profession. Sande having entered Safety Pin in this race, he is entitled, under the rules of the Illinois Turf Association, to ride his own horse. The presence of Sande in the saddle will create interest in the Oaks, which presents as contenders the pick of the Wests best. Sande is pleased as the result of his physical condition. He himself declares he is in the best riding form of his career. «
