WILL SHIP ONLY FIT HORSES Latonia Owners Not to Congest Arlington Stables With Racers Not Ready. LATONIA. Ky., June 20. — The numerous horsemen here who intend to ship their stables to Arlington Park for the coming meeting at that Illinois course have been instructed to ship only horses fit and ready to race. The Arlington Park management is desirous of taking care of as many stables as possible and the horsemen here are going to co-operate. While Howard Wells takes a division of the Howard Oots and R. Smith stables to Arlington, Al Hamel will return others of the establishments to Lexington, where they will remain until the resumption of Kentucky racing. Sewell Combs is making preparations to ship his active string to Arlington at the conclusion of the local meeting and the Harned Brothers campaigners probably will get away for the same track about July 1. A division of the stable of E. B. McLean is to leave for Arlington on June 28 and the others will go forward at the termination of the local season. J. B. Respess has made preparation to leave a number of his horses here while he races about fifteen at Arlington. The big band in charge of Jack Baker go to that track at the expiration o the meeting here. ♦
