PASSALONG, racing in much improved form under an energetic ride, came strongly when reaching the stretch and, continuing gamely, drew out in the last eighth to win well in hand. TEA CRACKER, taken oot of it after the start, was ridden wide thereafter and closed an immense gap to fiuish fastest of all. FIRE GIRL raced well from the start, but tired in the last eighth. MOTOR CHIEF, away well, showed early speed, bnt was taken back at the lower turn when the others came across and was again shuffled back before the stretch, but finished faat. RKD LEATHER raced prominently in the early stages and, holding on gamely when urged bard in the stretch, moved away from the others in the last eighth to win easily. PARTICIPATE, close up throughout, held on steadily when urged in the stretch. GOSSOON showed the most early speed, but tired badly after reaching the last eighth. THEO. FAY, away poorly, raced wide most of the way, but finished fast. AMILCAIt was taken out of it after a fast beginning and came with a rush when urged. WALTER R. was away too poorly to be a contender. MINO began slowly and lacked racing room until reaching the lower turn, where he came next to the inner rail and, moving into a prominent position, was in close quarters in the stretch but, finishing gamely under an energetic ride, got up in the final strides. SCOTLAND, probably best, was under restraint aud, ridden wide until reaching the stretch, where be came steadily, tired right at the end. OLD KICKAPOO showed fine speed and moved into a good lead, but tired in the last few strides. TYROL raced well for five-eighth* before tiring. SON OF JOHN was always outrun.
