l LATONIA TURF NOTES I • — — i LATONIA, Ky., June 20. Jockey A. Pascuma obtained permis.sion to cancel his engagement on My Word, a starter in the opening race, and N. Huff was given the mount. Instant, a juvenile gelding by American L *e — Lady Michigan, and the property of S. Van Arsdale of Lexington, arrived here yesterday. Oold Handle was reported to have bled following a preparatory move for his intended engagement today and was excused from starting. The stewards permitted the waiving of the apprentice allowance on Bkenc Seing and addition of blinkers to the equipment on Retort. There will be no increase in the general admission charge to the track on Saturday, Derby Day, according to announcement by the management this afternoon.
