PRINCESS EVOL showed the most spied while in the lead to he stretch, but began tiring badly in the last eighth and just lasted. NETIE PEBBLE8 raced close up to the leaders, saved ground and, finishing gamely, almost wore down the winner. PRINCESS ISABEL began slowly, but. gaining gradually, closed a big gap and finished fastest of all. TSUHUGA showed early speed on the outside, but tired in the final drive. SAGAMO. greatly Improved, showed the most speed throughout, held DOCTOR GLENN safe and held away to the end. DOCTOR GLENN always raced in closest pursuit of the leaders and was gaining at tJie end, but just outstayed FORTUNATE MANN. The latter raced on the outside, gained gradually and made a fast finish. Won driving; second and third the same. a NANI-HAWAII gamely set a good pace all the way and withstood the challenges of PtNKIK and TEMERAIRE in the stretch and outlasted THISTLE BOY. The latter worked his. way up to the leaders gradually under good riding, wore down TEMERAIRE and almost caught the winner. TKMERAIRB was badly outrun from a slow beginning but closed an immense gap in the last half mile, but broke down badly and came out of the race lame. PCNKIE raced well but began tiring in the final drive. BLAZE raced well for the first three-qtiarterq. then tired. The latter waa in closest pursuit of the leader to the stretch, then held on weli. only tiring in the final few yards. ISLAM waa outrun most of the way. but gained ground in the last quarter.
